Bring it on
Wizards will beat the the Traveliers in 6. Mark my words!

Wizards defeated the Celtics in two consecutive games
I’ve been watching the Wizards for 13 years and I’ve never seen another gutsy performance like this one. They beat the Celtics on Saturday night in a playoff atmosphere type of game with defense, intensity, and execution throughout the game and made clutch shots and free throws when it counted most. And you know what?
They came right back and did the same thing again in Boston to single-handedly gave the Celtics their first losing streak of their season.
And they did it all without one of their all-star in Gilbert Arenas.
IMPRESSIVE!!!
Seriously, people, do check out the Wizards because they are way better than the press has given them credits for. If Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison are not all stars in this year’s game, I will boycott the game, period. Along with everyone else on the team and the coaches, they are doing it all while Gilbert is trying to come back. Just imagine how great we can be when Gilbert comes back. OMG!
Oh, stop saying we are a better team w/o Gilbert. Fans nowadays constantly try to find excuses to trade this and that guy or to fire the coaches. Fans are fans. GMs and GMs. Let Ernie Grunfeld continues to do his magic for us.
I am just one happy man.
NBA season has started
You bet I will be near my TV tonight when the Wizards plays the Pacers. washingtonwizards.com has a very cool flash introduction. The season schedule is here.
ESPN - Stern to allow limited gambling among refs - NBA
This just does not sound right…
Chris Sheridan from ESPN wrote: NBA to revamp ref gambling rules; Jackson, Nunn see roles reduced:
Technically, it turns out every single current NBA referee has gambled in some form, after all—although none of them are going to be punished for it.
And, strange as it may seem, those very same referees will now be permitted to gamble in a multitude of ways.
It validates my own theory that the Bullets/Wizards have been unfairly treated on the court in numerous games because we are not supposed to win or people just don’t want us to win.
Yi Jianlian is going to play in the NBA this season
According to ESPN, Yi Jianlian has finally signed with the Milwaukee Bucks to play next season in the NBA. I am happy and excited to see if he can play at this level.
Young Wizards
The Wizards summer camp in Las Vegas has concluded and Glenn Consor has a recap of how our draft picks fare in five games.
I have always trusted Ernie Grunfeld to make good personnel decisions. He’s done it in New York and Milwaukee, and he has proven it here in Washington. It looks like Dominic McGuire is a steal at 47th. I expected Nick Young to do a little better, but he is ok.
The tough part to me is choosing between Aaron Miles and Juan Carlos Navarro. Navarro has been a star in the Spanish league, but Aaron Miles has proven himself in the summer league. Personally I would stick with Navarro because he has more of an upside, in case Young needs time to adjust to the NBA and Stevenson still can’t recover his shooting touch since last year’s playoff. Navarro can definitely score in a lot of ways. Our 2 guard has got to help out Arenas.
