OnMyList now has a new makeover
We’ve changed the look of the site and added a LOT of new and exciting features that we hope you will find useful and improve your listing experiences. You can read about the new features.
List you pants off at OnMyList.
OnMyList allows you to crop your profile pic now (or very soon)
It took us some time to figure out this crap attachment_fu and s3 woes.
How to add invitations to your facebook app

We have spent the last 2 days to fix, improve, clean up the OnMyList facebook app. There is this new way of using FBML to do invitations. I figure it will help some other folks out as well. If you are looking to spread some viral on facebook, take a look at Facebook app invites with RoR.
BTW, we are using RubyonRails and Rfacebook.
OnMyList web widget
I have added a web widget to OnMyList. Check out how it looks on my sidebar. If you want to add this cool little eye catching widget to your website, follow these steps:
- Create or login to your account at OnMyList
- Click your username in the top right corner to go to your profile page
- Under “Edit Profile” and next to “Change Password”, click “My Widgets”
- Click “Create New widget”
- Customize your widgets as you like
- Click “Generate Widget Code”
- Preview your widget to make sure it looks good
- Click anywhere in the widget code box to copy and paste the HTML code to your website
- Show off your widget and OnMyList love by telling all your friends!
Right now the default theme is the same as the cool theme as I did not have enough time to create more themes. If you are feeling creative, feel free to modify the CSS stylesheet that your browser downloads and send it back to us. We will consider adding your design to our theme selections and give you credit by showing your username next to the theme.
If you find any problems, please let us know.
OnMyList has moved to Amazon EC2 1
The EC2 migration went very smoothly and it is running rock solid. Big thanks to Andrew Ng and Jeff Coppedge for their flawless migration efforts, Jeff Rector for the amazing performance tricks. Check it out at OnMyList
We encourage you to hit it hard so we can see how it performs under heavy loads.
